Arthur's Day. Muslim Should Be Banned From Attending!!

i dint know bout wadeholl is this arthur's day till i saw an advert in the cinema, this quote really caught my attention.

"TO ARTHUR's!!"

who is Arthur?

for a muslim like me, definitely i will never know the background history of an alcoholic drink. Wat for i want to know? Sedangkan pencipta Teh O Beng pun aku tatao...ish2.

After watching the full advert then i realize wat or who is Arthur. And why are they celebrating the Arthur's Day.

Here is some short info of it.

Arthur's Day refers to a series of music events which were first organised in 2009 to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Guinness brewing company by its owner Diageo plc, using Freud Communications as public relations co-ordinators.

Those events took place internationally in the cities of Dublin, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, New York and Yaoundé on 24 September 2009. The event was broadcast internationally on Sky TV, ITV2 and DirecTV.^[1]€6 million has been pledged to the Arthur Guinness Fund.


The Malaysian government had initially forbidden Muslims to attend as it contradicts sharia law due to the organiser promoting alcohol, a beverage which Muslims are not allowed to drink. Non-Muslims in Malaysia were allowed to attend if they wish.^[14][15]  

Contrary to previous regulations, ANYONE above the age of 18 years can now participate.
 

Arthur Guinness (1725 – 23 January 1803) was an Irish brewer and the founder of the Guinness brewery business and family.

I am so confused......... why the government suddenly changed the rule of participation. Now, EVERYBODY CAN GO TO ARTHUR's DAY AND WILL DEFINITELY CHEERING THAT WORDS, "TO ARTHUR!!"

wat for??? i mean for a MUSLIM, want to celebrate this kind of celebration. Arthur is not our Legend, not our Tokoh Negara, and definitely NOT EVEN OUR TOKOH ISLAM!!!

Yang bertambah pelik, boleh pulak official radio offer free admission tickets to go to Arthur's Day. And KEBANYAKAN boleh dikatakan Majoriti manusia yang kol untuk dapatkan dat ticket is MUSLIM in name.

I dun mind if my Non-Muslim frens want to go there to celebrate, but kamonlah wahai umat Islam....Aku pun pernah g konsert gak tapi not under this kind of Specific Celebration. If the reason of going there is to watch Flo-Rida,Sean Kingston or MIZZ NINA (muslim artist), korang boleh janji kepada diri sendiri atau even janji kepada tuhan yang korang tak akan sebut perkataan "TO ARTHUR's!!" tu? Konfirm la semua artis yang naik mesti end or first word dorang akan laungkan pastilah "TO ARTHUR's!!!"

Adoih...siapalah punya keje bangang yg boleh buatkan benda yang haram jd halal neh....Siap promote kt radio, means mmg no restriction la untuk sesiapa pun pergi ke celebration sebegitu.




Yang menambahkan kepelikan aku, takde pun aku dengar bantahan dr mana-mana pihak even di FB skalipun, takde org yang kesah ke dengan benda neh? Ke aku sorang je yang sengaja nak mengecohkan keadaan?
